Description
The Spike‑BS On-board Night Vision Automotive Thermal Imager is a powerful thermal safety device designed for enhancing vehicle awareness in low-visibility conditions like night driving, haze, and glare. It integrates uncooled infrared detection with low-light visible imaging for dual-light fusion, enabling intelligent recognition of humans and vehicles to alert hidden dangers early.
Available with infrared detector resolutions of 384×288 or 640×512 (12 µm), the Spike‑B operates in infrared, low-light, and fusion imaging modes. The system supports human recognition up to ~200 m and vehicle recognition up to ~250 m. Its optional display (up to 8.4″, 800×600 LCD) and PAL or FPD‑Link video output offer flexible integration.
With a compact design weighing <330 g (Spike‑BS) or <800 g (Spike‑BF), it is powered by a 12 V supply with very low power usage (<2 W for BS, <5 W for BF). Built to endure tough conditions, the unit features IP67-rated encapsulation, impact resistance (40 g/11 ms), vibration and EMC compliance, and operation across −40 °C to +60 °C.
