The Matek Systems F405-TE Flight Controller is a high-performance and feature-rich unit designed for fixed-wing, VTOL, and professional FPV UAV platforms. Powered by a STM32F405RGT6 168 MHz ARM Cortex-M4 processor, the board integrates a high-precision ICM42688-P IMU, SPL06-001 barometer, and a MicroSD slot for BlackBox logging. With six UART ports, eleven PWM outputs, and wide power input up to 36 V (8S LiPo), the F405-TE provides versatile connectivity, precise telemetry, and advanced flight control capability. Compatible with ArduPilot, INAV, and BetaFlight firmware.

4. Integration & Usage Notes

  • Supports ArduPilot target MatekF405-TE and INAV target MATEKF405TE_SD.
  • DSHOT protocol is not supported on pins S3, S5, S7 (due to DMA conflict); use PWM or ONESHOT.
  • Ensure current and voltage sensor scaling is set correctly in firmware (e.g., 66.7 A/V for 220 A sensor).
  • BlackBox logging via MicroSD slot enables precise flight tuning and diagnostics.
  • Compatible with 3S–8S LiPo input; verify power polarity before connection.
